Cyborg in the City

Another shot of my cyborg ninja, in a classic cityscape, my first in color. I was thinking of naming him Spitfire, but that doesn't describe his style, which is more stealth than full out attack. Some problems, but overall I like it (I didn't use lens flare on the sword, and I might change the effect because its looks like I did). Shown below are the thumbnail sketch, blown up to full size; and the final b&w photoshop image.

Since I finished coloring Insectapods, and haven't begun my new colorist gig yet, it occured to me that I haven't picked up a pencil and actually drawn in over a year. This is a character I've had floating in my head for a while, so I drew, inked and colored it. While its not the best pose in the world, at least I know that I can still use a pencil. I'll probably do some more poses until I become busy again, and they should improve from here. Like it, hate it? let me know.

This is the cover for Insectapods #1, and yes, these are large (and small) insects with giant guns. The main characters are represented, which include a mantis, flea, cricket, grasshopper, and two ants. Colors done in photoshop.
